NEW PLYMOUTH, Wednesday
At the annual conference of the New Zealand Jersey Breeders' Association to-day the following council was elected: Wairarapa and East Coast, Mr. A. C. Lovelock; South Auckland. Mr. A. E. Missen; North Auckland, Mr. K. D. McLennan, M.P.; Nelson. Dr. Wachbuni.
The president announced that he and Mr. E. C. G. Dermer had been appointed by the council to collaborate with the Agricultural College authorities in founding the Jersey portion of the herd at the college.
Serious objection was taken by members to the appointment being made without reference to the annual meeting, but the chairman refused to allow the . .atter to be re-opened. It was decided to hold the next annual meeting in Christchurch.
