TRIMMERS STRIKE.
DEADLOCK BEACHED. (KeodTed 11J0 • tn.) SYDNEY, thii day. The attempt to settle the dispute between the Newcastle coal trimmer* and the Port Arthur Stevedoring Company terminated in a deadlock. Twenty-one coUeries in the northern fields hare ceased working and 10,000 miners are idle. Should the strike continue, crews of a number of vessels will be paid off.
