AUCKLAND SHAREMARKET.

ON 'CHANGE. « Several sales were made to-day of Waihi shares, ex div., at 17/1, with buyers left at the same rate. Waihi Grand Junctions sold at 10d, and Alburaia'a at 3/4. A line of Devonport Ferry shares changed hands at 25/9, and a sale was reported of Kaiapoi Woollen ordinary issue at 8/6. A seller of Colonial Sugar Refining Co. shares quoted £53 at the morning call, but dropped out at noon, being replaced by a buyer at £51. For Bank of New South Wales rights buyers offered £25 at the noou call, an advance of 5/. Buyers came in for Ujalgety, Ltd., rights, at 54/, but sellers did not quote. Northern Steam shares eased slightly, being offered at 13/9. Inquiry set in this morning tor Newton King preference shares at 11/, but the sellers asked 15/. Once again the buying price for Mount Edeu Borough Loan GVj per cent, was advanced to £106, without sales resulting. BUSINESS DONE. AT THE 3.15 P.M.
