INSPECTING ALL WORKS
Tn the past it has been the cu&tom for member* of the Auckland Harbour Board to make :i tour of inspection of nil harbour works, in onler to acquaint themselves with matters which are likely to crop up at the hourd meeting*. To-day tho present bonrtl. together with the harbourmaster (Captain H. H. Serjeant), the superintendent (Mr. H. B. Burnett), the traffic mniMpor (Mr. W. R. Golden), and the enpnoor (Mr. D. Holdernes*). are making their tour on the launch Waitemata. This afternoon members of the party are conferring with representatives of the City Council on the question of the proposed reclamation and formation of a recreation "round in Hobeon Bay.
