TAKAPUNA. ".: v The Bev. W. G. Monckton presided at the annual meeting of parishioners of Takapuna, when the church warden*' re. > port showed that after repayment of all loans and meeting every liability, there vat a credit balance of £13, exclusive of a legacy of £200. There had, been an increase in church attendance and also of communicants. The MUford Hall bad been altered, and the primate would be asked to dedicate it as a church on Sunday, May 29. The report made special reference to the fine work done by Mrs. Attwood and the Rev. O. S. Hewlett in connection vita MUford Church. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year:—Vicar's warden, Mr. H. R. Harris; people's warden, Mr. J. W.Williamson; vestry,' Sirs. Attwood, Messrs. J. A. Edsell, A. B. Webber, M. G. C Malcolm, E. E. Grimwade. T: J. Sexton, B. C. Cntten, J. B. Grove, C. Pratt, J. F. Cd& grove. ;
ST. BRIDE'S, MATTKU.
At the annual meeting of parishioners of St. Bride's-Anglican Church, M«nko, tin following officers were appointed: Vicar's warden, Mr. T. B. Bailey; people'* wardea, Mr. K. Wright; vestry, Messrs. C. A. Cat* (secretary), A. V. Hill (treasurer), F. A. Cutfield, C. A. Crispe, E. Eowe, S. Bove, ft. Hogwood, C. Willis, W. F. Qavies, and J. F. Daviee. Mr. R. Cornthwaite, who va« secretary for a number of years, the retiring vestry, end all church workers and Sunday school teachers were thanked. The cross, which was blown down from the steeple OB the night preceding the sixty-fifth anniversary of the opening of this historic church, is to be pnt in its place again at an early date.
