Sir William and Lady Hall-Jones, of Wellington, are at the Central Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Murray, of London, and Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Taylor, of Wellington, are at Hotel Cargen. Mr. J. Linklater, M.P. for Manawatu, is at the Grand Hotel. He is accompanied by Mrs. Linklater. Mr. W. Grounds, chairman of the Dairy Control Board, left for Wellington by train last evening. Mr. -J. Martin, of Frankton Junction, and Mr. A. W. Rarneay, of Hamilton, are at the Commercial Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Morris, Mayor and Mayoress of Queensland, South Africa, are on a visit to Auckland. They are at the Central Hotel. Among the arrivals by the Ulimaroa yesterday were Mr. W. H. McEntee, of Papakura, and Mr. J. T. Young, of Hamilton, who have been visiting Australia. Mr. Efrem Zimbalist, the renowned violinist, arrived in Auckland last evening, and. is staying at the Grand Hotel. With him is Mr. L. Greenwold, his accompanist. Mr. C. G. Brooks and Mr. W. S. Hutchison, of Auckland, and Mr. A. Moore, of Devonport, who have been visiting Australia, returned by the Ulimaroa yesterday. Among the guests at the Star Hotel are Mr. F. G. Smith (Napier), Mr. J. Bunn (New Plymouth), Mr. W. O. Ward (Wellington), Mr. J. T. Hair (Weilington), and Mr. W. Pa ton (Wellington). Staying at the GAnd Hotel are: Mr. and Mrs. T. R. Johnston (London), Mr. W. Brown (Melbourne), Mr. T. N. Cowlishaw (Christchurch), Mr. and Mrs. Stamp-Taylor (Wellington), Mr. B. Beans (Sydney), Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Xnight (Palmerston North), and Mr. I. S. Swan (Wellington). Among the passengers from Wellington by the Taintii for England on Tuesday last, was Mr. L. H. Warner, together with his wife and family. Mr. Warner was for some years on the Auckland staff of J. Ilott Ltd., Advertising Agents, and after spending a period at the firm's bead office in Wellington, has now been transferred to its London branch. Guests at the Central Hotel include Mr. W. McDonald, Mr. John Duncan, Mr. N. Davis (Wellington), Mr. Wilfred Johns tone (Te Kuiti), Mr. and Mrs. W. Sutherland (Sydney), Mr. A. C. Clayton (England), Mr. M. Broughton (Hamilton), Mr. and Mrs. S. Darragh (Tauranga), Mr. . and Mrs. W. Le Quence (Sydney).
