25 PER CENT GUILTY.
MONET STOLEN PBOM HOUSE. ACCUSED GOES FREE. With Olaf Stromso (30), a Norwegian, he was 25 per cent guilty of theft, yet he walked out of the Police Court this inorujng a free man. It was this way. Stromso wu charged with stealing £21 in money belonging to Mary Anne Dennison. "I'll admit steal, ing £6 of it," Stromeo tojd Mr. F. K. Hunt, 8.M., presided. Mary Anne Dennison said she lived In Grey Street with accused. She placed £21 in notos in her wardTobe, and ft was ' stolen. Mr. Hunt: You have lived with this man for a long time and to all intents and purposes he ie your husband ?—Yes, that's right. I suppose hie clothes were in the wardrobe ?*-~No; they were In a box of his own. . "I'm not going to convict a man for that," said Mr. Hunt. "The charjre is dismissed." *
