UNEMPLOYMENT AT WAIHI.
MR. SAMUEL INVESTIGATING.

WAIHI, this day Mr. A. M. Samuel, M.P. for Ohinemuri, is visiting WaWi to-day, inquiring into certain distress cases. He discussed the question of unemployment with the Mayor, who urged that the work on the Waihi-Wh*ng2mata Road should be speeded up with a view to meeting the difficulty. . Mr. Samuel will leave for Wellington in a few * days in connection with the business of > his electorate.
