MOTORISTS BEWARE!
SPEEDING ON GREAT SOUTH ROAD. ax ilnspector appointed. For. some time members of the Manukau Couyty Council have, felt that there has been too much speeding by motorists on the Great South Road and this morning it was decided to appoint an inspector to control the traffic between Otafa uhu and Papakura. The Manukau County Council has always had' its own inspector but as his authority was confined to only portion of the main concrete road, council mcinbers t considered that the time had arrived to appoint an inspector to control the traffic over the whole area between Otahuhu and Papakura. ■This morning- several members expressed . the opinion thqt there was too much speeding on the Great South Road and it was decided to appoint an inspector to represent the Manurewa Town Board, 'Papatoetoe" Town Board, Otahuhu Borough, Council, and Manukau County Council, the charge to be upon the joint counties', fund.
