ACCESS TO POPULAR BAYS ON EAST COAST.—The scheme to provide direct vehicular access to the bays past Milford over the Wairau Creek is now being carried out. A 25-chain read will skirt the foreshore from Howden's Point, on the northern bank, to the bridge site at Inga Road. The piles for the bridge are being driven.
