POISONED BY GAS STOVE.
MAX UNDER INFLUENCE OF DRINK. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, this day. At tho' inquest into the death of Henry Temple, in the "Tablet" newspaper office last Monday, the coroner said there was no evidence to show that Templo committed suicide. Death was due to asphyxia, following coal gas poisoning. It seemed while under the influence of drink Temple went to light a gas stove and knocked it over, and he was apparently in euch a state that he could not right it again.
