BIRKENHEAD ORPHANS.
CLUBS SUCCESSFUL OPENING.
The opening gathering of the 1027 session of the Birkenhead and Xorthcote OrphansClub, held in the Masonic Hall. Northcote on Saturday evening, was largely attended, and proved a most successful function The president. Mr. H. D. Boles, welcomed the official guests. These were the Mnvors of Birkenhead and Northcote (MessrsTe! G Skeates and A. E. Greenslaae) the town clerk of Northcotr f Mr. H. W.
