MUSICAL DISTINCTION.
NEW ZEALAND MEDAL AWARDED. • ■ (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Friday. Advice lias been received that Miriam 0. Smyth, L.T.G.L., of Dunedin, has gained the New Zealand medal for 1020. This medal is awarded annually to the candidate gaining the highest position among licentiates of the year at the diploma examination held throughout New Zealand.
