TRACTOR DRIVEN OFF WHARF.
ACCIDENT AT WELLINGTON. (By Telegraph. —Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Friday. One of the Wellington Harbour Board's motor-tractors with trailer attached, while tipping spoil at tho tip in the vicinity of tho New Burnham wharf, Miramar, at 1.30 p.m. to-day, backed too far and fell into tho harbour. Tho tractor and trailer disappeared in 30ft of water. Tho driver, Eichard Linden, aged 20, was thrown clear with half the steering wheel in his hand. He fell on to the sloping bank and managed to avoid falling into the water. He was badly shaken ami sulTcrcd minor bruises.
