At a meeting of the Rugby League Management Committee it was decided in connection with the proposal to present medallions to the loyal members of the team that toured England, to support the suggestion that medallions should carry with them free admission to all League grounds throughout the Dominion.

The chairman gave it as his opinion that there were too many "deadheads" in Auckland. "When we played there a crowd of about 7000 attended, but according to the returns, a few thousand were 'deadheads'" he said. He thought, however, the privilege should be granted in this particular case.
