AUCKLAND SHAREMARKET.

TO-DAY'S QUOTATIONS. ON 'CHANGE. New Zealand Insurance shares firmed a little to-day, sales being made at 38/3. Auckland Gas had transactions at 23/0, and Kauri Timber at 25/6. A sale wa» made of Bartholomew Timber yesterday afternoon at 20/6, and of Bank of New South Wales at £47 10/ ex-rights. South British Insurance shares had further transactions at 54/, and a sale was made of National Mortgage Agency at 66/6. New Zealand Bank shares advanced a little this morning, sales occurring at 60/3. Buyers for Huddart Parker Steam advanced their offers to 48/. New Zealand Breweries are a shade easier, being offered at 51/6. Hamilton Borough 6 per cent loan are wanted at 20/ premium, but sellers ask £104.
