RECEPTION.
The delightful home of Mrs. A. L. Foster, "Coolangatta," Bemuera Road, was charmingly decorated for the reception yesterday, held after the marriage of Misa Audrey Studholme, when the guests were received by Mr. and Mrs. Studholme. The drawing room was a study in pale pink chrysanthemuns, which were arranged in tall stemmed vases. Tea was served in the dining room, where the table was delightfully arranged with cream and crimson roses in crystal vases. Mrs. Studholme wore a handsome gown of black satin romaine with lime panels worked in silver and a black tagel straw with black velvet bows touched with lime and a mole-shaded ostrich feather stole. Mrs. Mill wore a frock of black georgette finely tucked and inset with black lace. Her hat was of black panne velvet with high-cr>ished crown of satin and velvet. Mrs. Foster wore black lace over champagne shaded igeorgette and black hat with green feather mount. Mrs. Stephen Allen was in navy blue crepe de chine with wide panel of royal blue georgette and small hat with royal blue and navy feather mount. Lady Lockhart was in black georgette. embroidered in gold and a black hat; Mrs. Averill wore a cloth suit with black and blue hat; Mrs. Valentine, tan crepe frock, green hat; Mrs. A. Foster, black lace gown, over tan crepe de chine, black hat; Mrs. H. Vaile, black crepe de chine and hat to match; Mrs. Warick Wilson, navy blue with dull gold trimmings, smart hat and fox fur; Mrs. Waller, black metior cloth coat with fur, small black hat; Mrs. C. Knight, praline pink crepe de chine frock and hat; Mrs. Fraser, silk velvet gown and hat of same colour; Miss Jean Fergusson, elephant brown coat and tan hat; Miss Waller, cyclamen frock, email smart hat, with chanoinesse ribbons; Miss Lawford, blue taffeta, with small biscuit felt hat; Miss Anderson, blue velour coat and hat; Miss Knight, wine coloured crepe de chine and hat to match; Miss Ferguson, black cloth coat, trimmed with grey fox fur; Miss Sweet, navy satin cloth with shaded hat; Miss McCullagh, tnwgoyne frock, hat to matefc.
