NEW PARTY DOOMED.
Labour Faction Not Made
Welcome.
SUPPORT NOT FORTHCOMING.
(Received 11.30 a.m.)
SYDNEY, this day
The move to launch an Industrial Political Labour party appears to be doomed to early failure.
Very little support could be obtained for the scheme when the members of the Parliamentary caucus were canvassed.
Both factions contend that there is no need for a new party, and the issue between the Seale faction and the majority faction will be fought out when the Federal executive meets at Canberra this week.
