T.U.C. RESOLUTION.
(Received 12 noon.) MELBOURNE, this day. ; The All-Australian Trade Union Congress passed a resolution that the congress should elect a Peace Committee, whose duty it would be to establish a bureau of peace, and keep in close touch ■with the working class of all nations, particularly those bordering on the Pacific, for the purpose of helping to prevent future war and to help bring *bout. » world peace congress. The congress protested against the British Trade Union Bill, and pledged financial and moral support to British towns in opposing the bill. Mr. W. J. Duggan was elected president of the new Australian Council of Trade Unions.
