RUGBY FOOTBALL.

THE CLUB HONOURS. TEAMS FOR TO-MORROW. Eden Park to-morrow will be the venue of four out of the ten senior Rugby matches to ho played in connection with the Auckland championship. University and Marist Old Boys will have pride of place on the grandstand playing ground, and as both of them were winners on the opening day the competition is bound to he keen. Especially will this be the ease in view of the early departure for Sydney of half a dozen of the most prominent student players, whose bid for rep. honours is bound to be affected by their sin wing in this panic, seeing that they will drop out of sight of the selector for about a month thereafter. The curtain Taiser will be provided by Manukau and the new City team, a match in which more than usual interest is being taken on account of Manukau's good showing last year in the B section and City's defeat last week of the Varsity B team. Ponsonby and Training College, both fast teams, should give an attractive game on the No. 2 ground, while not a few followers are bound to keep an eye on the Grafton-Grammar match, set down for No. 3 playing area. At the showground the attraction will be the game between College Rifles and North Shore, and on this ground also the Senior B sides Marist and EUerslie will meet. Suburbs will have their first game of the season at Avondalc against Technical Old Boys, and on the same ground Takapuna will play the Waitemata senior team, whose admission to the grade has not yet tiecn definitely decided. Otahuhu will be at home to University B, and Tramways •nd Newton will meet on Victoria Park.

The third intermediate match (B section) between Grammar A and Shore B, and the sixth grade match Grey Lynn v. l-'orth Shore are to be played on the Springs ground. Teams:— MARJST OLD BOYS.
