ROAD BOARD ELECTIONS.
ONE TREE HHL AWD TAHASL POLLS BEING HELD TO-DAY. Road board elections are being held to-day in the One Tree Hill and Tamaki Road Districts. With four vacancies on the One Tree Hill Road Board, the following eight candidates have been nominated:—H. K. Clayton, H. B. Dobbie. J. S. Hardwicke, John Jlattieson, Claude Purchas, T. H. Rome, Norman Wade, Thomas Whitehead. Voting will take place between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. at the following polling places:—Vacant shop next Mr. Fowler, land agent, Greenwood's Corner; St. George's Church Hall, Ranfurly Road East; the board's temporary offices, Abbott's Buildings, Broadway; St. George's Church Hall, Penrose; Fire Brigade Station, Green Lane; Chamber of Commerce. Swanson Street.
For the Tamaki Road Board there are five candidates for four seats, as follow:—L. E. Bradley, G. Cole, D. Moir, R. Pengelly, J. C. Rowe. The nomination of K. B. Mason has been withdrawn.
Polling will take place between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. at tlie followins booths: Eoad Board Office. St. Helier's; Manuka.i County Council Chambers, corner Shortland and Princes Streets, City; Grey"? Hall, Kohimarama; residence* of Mr.V Welch, Tamaki West Koad.
