HOCKEY PROFITS.
A PREFERENCE CLAIM BY AUCKLAND. THE DECISION DEFERRED. (By Telegraph.—Special to " Star.") CHRISTCHURCH, this day. The question of disposal of net profits of the third "test" was raised at the annual meeting of the N.Z. Hockey Association by Mr. Quartermain, who stated that as Auckland had had to bear extra expense in connection with the match and also in connection with the arrival and departure of the Indian I m 7 am they should be given a grant of £00. As there was a likelihood of further applications being received the whole question of disposal of the sum was referred to a meeting of delegates to be held three weeks hence. ~
