The Casino at Monte Carlo made a gross gain last year at the expense of the public of £1.450,000. The games chiefly played wore roulette, trente-et-quarante and cheinin-de-fer. The net profit was £087,770. The shareholders receive a dividend of £7 upon each £5 share. shares are now quoted at £120. The shares belong to tho Blanc family, including the Radziwill and the Bonaparte families. The Casino also pays £100.000 a year to the Prince of Monaco and £S0.0')0 to the French Government.
