The otajro team was distinctly unlucky in that the Auckland lightweight got his win chiefly hy virtue of being allowed by his opponent t<> stand op through the final round. He had got the points in the first two rounds, but in the last one was ■well beaten and fortunate in that his opponent elected not to force the issue to a knock-out.
