Mr. S\ kes is expected to reach Auckland by the steamer Niagara on May CTi. Hf will take ehage of the Auckland oinre "! the Canadian Trade Commissioner, Mr. C M. Ciott, while Mr. Croft is making nn official tour of Canada in accordance xntn the policy of his Government of keojn.i;; its overseas representatives tully acquainted with the latest developments m the Dominion by means of personal visits. Mr. Croft expects to leave Auckland early in July, and he will !>e away for several months. He will return to Auckland on the completion oi his tour.
