It was very tactful and kindly of Hoi Majesty to insist that the newcurtain* and bedspread* for Sandringham should l>c of Nottingham lace Nottingham in j dustries owe practically their revived existence to the help of roynl ladies who have set a fashion for the products ot this town. Swiss laces have had to take a back seat in favour of the home-made laces. And now that lovely design* arc followed and old laces copied, Notting. ham can hold her own with, any foreign machine-made-lac* towns.
