TAKAPUNA ORPHANS.
ANNUAL MEETING HELD. At the annual general meeting of the Takapuna Orphans' Club, President Bro. E. C. Cutten, was in the chair. A vote of congratulation to the treasurer, Bro. Minogue, the secretary, Bro. Gibbons, and the members of the committee for their efforts in bringing forward such a satisfactory report and bal ance-sheet, was carried unanimously.
A motion of sympathy with the rela tivcs of the late Brothers Sir Henry Brett, D. Rugg and J. Power was carried in silence, members standing.
