GOLDFIELDS FRAZER STARS.
The final match of the season for the Gold fields Frazer Pairs Stars was played at Morrinsviile on Friday, the challengers being Newman and Smith (Thames), and the holders Branch and Donald (Morrm*villei. After a game which was close until the last few heads Morrinsviile retained possession by 22—ltf. THE MANAWATU CENTRE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association. ) IWLMERSTON NORTH. Friday.
The Manawatu Bowling (>atre> Easter tournament commenced to-day with -iS ••ntries. Kinks were present from the Auckland. Wellington, Wa'.rarapa and ltotonia districts. The weaihfr was finis. The tournament will last for several day*.
