At the Sydney Royal Show the first prize and championship for thoroughbred stallion was awarded to Sir Samuel Hordern's Crescendo.

At the show cattle sales two New Zealand exhibitors were represented. Seven Shorthorn bulls on account of Mr. L. White, Rakaia, Canterbury, realised 855 guineas.
