DATES OF CONFERENCES
Mr. C. C. Munro presided at last niirht's meeting of the Auckland Prnvhvni] Branch of the New Zealand l"'a :s ; Union. A letter from the Wanganui branch asked for an opinion regarding the establishment of the Arbitration Court. It was decided to reply to the effect that Auckland's opinion would be expressed at the annual conference in Wellington. It was announced th&t the next Dominion executive meeting would take place in Wellington on May 11. The Auckland provincial annual conference will be commenced at Whangarei at 7.30 p.m. on May 25. It is expected that over 30 delegates will attend. In that connection it was decided to invite dairy and freezing companies to send delegates to a meeting to be held at the same time, for the purpose of discussing Auckland remits to the Dominion conference of the Union.
