Mr. Pritt received severe head injuries and died at the hospital half an hour later. The deceased was a carpenter by trade, a married man. and leaves a widow and two children. Only a fortnight j>po he came to Auckland from Hamilton. STRUCK BY A TRAMCAR. A seaman. Mr. Geo. Gould, just before S o'clock last evening, was struck by a tramcar in Queen Street. He received serious injuries to the head and was removed to the ho-pital by the St. John ambulance. I While working at the railway goM s sheds at Penrose. Mr. Kenneth Milton, o'" Botha Koad.
