MINE MANAGERS' REPORTS.
Nonpareil.—The manager reports having discontinued driving on the Shamrock reef, and started on the Liverpool Boys, which was split up into several leaders. After driving eight feet, and passing three breaks, _ the Liverpool Boys reef came together in a nice body of mineralised stone. Driving a short distance should get under where gold was got a few years ago.
Lucky Shot. —No. 1 reef : A distance of 7ft has been driven for the week. It still maintains its width of 10ft. and shows strong colours of gold when broken down. No. 2 reef has been stripped for a distance of Sft, and will be broken down nest week. The reef in liangingwail of No. 2 reef will be referred to in future as No. 3 reef. This is a strong body of stone, and no signs of liangingwail. We put in a hole 6ft and passed through several ribs of quartz. We intetnrl cutting right through at this point J 0 ?et the liangingwail. No quartz was orn';on f- i>- iii-i tor the past week.
(■olden Age.—The winze has been sunK a ri-rtlier distance of sft. There is no change hi this face since my last report. Two men mace a start on the 4th to clean out the crosscut and lay tramlines.
