THE SIXTH TIME.

WITHIN THREE YEARS. BURGLARS AT R. J. AND J. O. SIMS. DISTURBED WHILE AT WORK. There appears to be two di-tim-r ganir-s of burglers nt i\ oik in Auckland. One gang, who prey in the suburbs, break into tobacconists, grocery stores, etc., and merely take si way a ii'\\- shillings worth <if goods, and another of ;i more serious type, who arc in quest of greater hauls nt goods, ever ready to ■'blow -5 a good safe with money inside. Members of the hitter type, it is believed, were at work last night at the big wharehouse of 11. J. and J. 0. Sims-, in Auzac Avenue. In all three doors were damaged by jemmies. Round at the back the burglars found it impossible to gain entrance, m> they centred their efforts on the big double doors, where motor trucks back into the platform to load goods from the warehouse. Probably the burglars had a conveyance with them, ready to curry away a big haul. It is evident that the operators were disturbed while at work, for had they worked on the door a minute longer, it would easily have been opened, allowing them free access to the thousands of pounds' worth of stock in the building.

Burglars at this warehouse are "regular customers." for tKis is the sixth occasion within three years that they have attempted to gain entrance. Another Suburban "Job." Still another "job" is reported from the suburbs. A window was. broken out of the stationary shop of Mr. Peter titanic, 17, New North Road. Entrance was effected, but nothing of value was stolen.
