The personnel of the Registrations Hoard under the Veterinary Surgeons Act was announced by the Minister of Agriculture on Saturday, as follows: Dr. Reakes. registrar and chairman: Mr. A. M. Rrodio. Hastings: Mr. H. S. S. Kyle, M.1 , .. Christchurch: Mr. \\\ C. Barry, district superintendent. Department of Agriculture, at Wellington. Dr. Heakes is appointed by the Gover-nor-tioneral from among the veterinary surgeons in the employment of the Department: Mr. Krodio, on the recommendation of the Minister, and Messrs. Kyle and Barry on the recommendation of the New Zealand Veterinary Association. The members, with the exception of the registrar, hold office for three \ears, with the right of reappointincut. When an application for registration is refused or a name is subsequently removed from the register the person concerned has the right of appcnl to an appeal board consisting of a, magistrate and two assessors.
