'A glass a day keeps the doctor away" has almost displaced the couple*, about the apple, and medical men are unanimous that the pure orange drink i> health-giving. Oranges and lemons contain more healthful '-stored sunlight" than any other fruit. Yitamines are described as "stored sunlight. ■' and oranges are therefore invaluable for cleansing the blood. One of the largest firms selling orange drinks in Auckland is Big Orange Drink. Ltd., and this firm guarantees that every drink sold is made only of whole fruit and sugar, with, of course, the addition of water. The drink is made fresh every day in Karangahape Road, and no preservatives or artificial colouring used. The oranges are washed before crushing to ensure that the skins are clean, and the utmost care is taken in examining every orange to free that it is perfectly wholesome. Any fruit with the- slight c-t contamination is thrown out. The Big Orange Drink is obtainable at the headquarters of the linn, Bufchcr's Building*. Karangaliape Hoad. and at,branches at o.i. Containers 'with the drink ready for consumption may be purchased for home use. They are sold in two convenient size*, reach- to be carried away, at Sd and 1/15. Besides taking Big Orange Drinkregularly at the shops, many people are i taking containers home regularly.
