FIRST DAYS COMPETITIONS. (By Telegraph.—-Own Correspondont.) COROMAXDEL, Friday. The second annual meeting of the Coromandel County Dog Trinl Club opened yesterday. Following are the results of the competitions :— Long Head and Pull (possible points, r>o). Mr. P. McXaughton's (MorrinsvlUe) Boss. 36 points (heading 11 , , pull 11, ring :s. command lo), 1 ; Mr. Crawford Goudie's (Colville) Fly, 32 points (heading 10. pull 12. ring 2. command 10), 2; Mr. Potor NlcN'aiighton's (Morriusville) Clem. 30 points (heading S, pull 11, ring 3. command S). 3; Mr. A. T. Simpson's (Kuaotunu) Jim, 24 points (head G, pull S, ring 2, commaud 8). 4. Huntaway (possible points. 45).—Mr Ernest Goudie's (Colville) Star 34 points (huntaway 12, noise 7. style .".. command 10), 1: Mr. A. C. Denize's (Cromandel) Bob, 18 points (huntawav !>, noise 3 stvle 2. command 4), 2; Mr. \V. P. Thomson's (Kuaotunu) Yanra 3.
