"The standard of play has been of a very high order, and matches well and in keeping with the highest tradition of the eode,' states the annual report of the Waikato jßugby Union presented at the annual meeting of that body last night. The report expressed the opinion that if given good, clean and fast football there was no fear of R ug bv going back in Waikato. The summarV of representative, fixtures played during the season showed the following resultst —Waikato v. Thames Valley, at Paeroa won by 31 to 6; North Auckland, at Hamilton, won by ?0 to 13; Th ameß Valley at Morrinsville, won by 39 to 5Hawke's Bay, at Hamilton won by 22 fo 3- King Country, at Taumarunui reSlg ?*£ and appreciation of his work.
