TIMARU RAM FAIR.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) TIMARU, Friday. At the Timaru ram fair to-day the entry was smaller than usual. There was a good demand, especially for English and Border Leicesters. The top price was 30gns for a stud one-shear English Leicester. The general range of prices was:—Stud sheep: Border Leicesters, sgns to lOfrns: English Leicesters, sgns fco lOgns; Romney Marsh, 6gns to lOgns. Flock ' sheep: Border Leicesters, 4gns to Bgns; English Leicesters, 4gns to 13gns; Corriedales, 3gns to B&£ns; Romneys, 4gns to Bgns; Southdowns, 6gns to Bgns: Shrcpshires 4gns to sgns; South-down-Border Leister cross 3%gns to 7gns.
