DONE TO DEATH.
Fate of British Nurse in France. ASSAULTED AND STRANGLED. PARIS, February 27. The body of a young woman was found yesterday in a thicket outside the hamlet of La Pottierie, near Boulogne. It is believed to be that of a young English nurse. Miss May Daniels, who disappeared in October. She had crossed the Channel on an excursion with a companion, who missed her while awaiting the boat for the return trip. Miss Daniels had both their tickets and consequently her companion had to wait until friends in England cabled the money for her return fare. A description of the missing girl was circulated all over the Continent. Her brother-in-law offered a reward of £100 for her discovery. No news was received until yesterday, when a farmer accidentally found the body. There were indications that the girl had been assaulted and strangled.
