TOLL OF SPEED.
WEEK-END FATALITIES. SYDNEY, February 27. Another fatal accident occurred on the Maroubra speedway yesterday. A machine ridden by J. Donaghy skidded, and the rider was thrown with terrific force. He sustained grave injuries to -the head and died in hospital. A message from Melbourne says a motor car was smashed through colliding with a standard on the railway line at Brighton. One of the passengers, Mr. Eric Dunk, and a girl named Jessie Ferguson, were killed. Four other persons were injured.
