The Duke and Duchess now thev're here have made a most emphatic hit. Their popularity is clear, and every day's increasing it. I'll bet by now our Royal guest in X.Z.'s friendliness believes, if of that fact should be a test the warm addresses he receives. The Mayor, the people and the Church brim forth their scrolls with high delight", and even Coates comes off his perch with his address of welcome bright. Xo doubt there soon will follow on the sporting men of every creed, while Labour leaders ere he's gone their pieces to the Duke will read. In this most hearty parchment fight the farmers won't be left behind, while Maori tribes from left to right will seek to prove themselves as kind. Oh, folk, now let no chances slip to prove ourselves tine loyal souls, so Sinbad ought to take the tip—say, what's the price oi parchment scroll si .
