(By Telegraph-special to "Star.") . WELLINGTON, this day. Tuesday at the Wellington Hospital white_ undergoing an operation for cfearof ,WW PaSSag f follmvi ng an attack i A WaS ?° ld before W. G. Riddel!. to-day. Medical evidence was given that tha condition of the child's air passages was such that an operation was absolutely necessary. Ether was administered quite satisfactorily, but within five minutes the boy had' ceased to. breathe. Artificial respiration and 1 st ™ulants were applied without success.
