In reply to '"Anti-Humbug"' in your issn# of the 17th. I would suggest that he plav the part of a man, and sign his name to future correspondence. I rep-eat that there are too many destructive critics, and very few constructive ones, men who play to the gallery and what 1 formerly termed the "unthinking class," critics whose whole teaching and preaching is "State help," and not "self help," who say the Government should do something, but cannot offer any practical suggestions. I will challenge "Anti-Humbusi" to find how far he is prepared to give practical help. Ii he himself and ten others will finance a man with a family on to a small farm on which the latter can make a comfortable living, interest not to be more than 6$ per cent, no inflation of values, I will do the same. That will be assisting the unemployed and the Government of the day I maintain we should help both, and Dot find fault unless we are prepared to do or suggest something practical.
