FLOTILLA READY AT OR OK AW A. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) RUSSELL, Wednesday. There were busy scenes this afternoon n't pretty Orokawa Bay, where the power boat flotilla which Avill be used in connection with the Royal quest for mako shark and swordfish was paraded. The Duke will fisli from Mr. AV. Mason Bayly's launch Mason Bee, and Mr. A. •T. Court's launch. -Jean, a sumptuouslyfitted craft, has been reserved for the use of the Duchess.

The flotilla presented a picturesque flight as it sped in line across the bay to be filmed for the Government Publicity Department. On shore the work of preparing fishing tackle and equipment proceeded apace. Both Their Highnesses will use New Zealand rods of tanekaha and New Zealand gear, although the rod

prepared for the Duchess is much lighter than the one the Duke will use. Arrangements for the fishing have been carried out by Mr. F. P. Flynn, Government Inspector of Fisheries.

Deep sea anglers state that the big .came fish arc running late this season. They do not expect the peak to come for several weeks yet, although as the result of the weather of the last two days the shoal fish arc appearing and some big fish have been seen in the regu'ir haunts.
