POINT CHEVALIER BUSES.
I should like to ask who controls the traffic on the Point Chevalier route. I hf-lieve some bus owners are lined for overcrowding. Well. I would like to 1 now what overcrowding i=. On Wednesday evening I travelled from Point ( hevalier to the city on the bug, and the '•nnditions were simply disgraceful. I n ied to count the passengers, but that w.is an impossibility, but the fact that ihere were seven people on the step or in the vicinity will give an idea of the n-owd inside. The driver (I would like 10 «tate here that the drivers on these buses I have found to be the most obliging and polite of all the officers of ihe Tramway Department) did his best for the crowS by warning them to "Hold on.'' He had to get the crowd home f'Tuehow. lam a frequent traveller t', the Point and have never yet encountered an inspector. OBSERVER.
