OPOTIKI STORE ROBBED.

TWO YOUTHS ADMIT GUILT. ONE MADE OFF WITH BOOTY. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.! OPOTIKI, this day. Two local youth*, Stanley Matchitt 1(16), and Joseph Collins (I'J), were charged at the Police Court this morning with breaking and entering the premises of Shalloon Bros., and stealing goods valued at £38. The stolen goods included 31 pairs of socks, 10 shirts, 12 ties, boots and shoes and sundry articles, and £6 15/ in cash. Detective McLeod represented the Police, and Mr. Nelson Hodgson appeared for both the accused. Tiie evidence showed that Matchitt got through a window at the back of the shop and opened the front door and took the go.iris out to Collins, who made of! with th"m tr. Rotorua leaving Matchitt nothing. Collins was arrested in Rotorua by Constable Heaslip. Roth pleaded guilty and were committed to the Gisborne Supreme Court for sentence.
