Arthur George j Hugh Hughes, a carpenter, and Norman j B;nns. a laoourer, both of Petone, were • dealt with by Mr. E. Page. S.M., to-day. j Hughes, who is living apart from his wife, and has a number of previous convictions, was sentenced to six months' i hard labour. Binns, who had not been in trouble before, was admitted to proj bat ion for two years, and ordered to : make restitution'of £9 10'. at the rate of 10/ a week.
