Absence of Golden Crown Disappoints. THEIR MAJESTIES' INTEREST. (Received 1.30 p.m.) LONDON, February 22. Nancy Greenhall was the heroine of the King and Queen's visit to the London Hospital, where they spent a couple of hours chatting witti the patients. When Nancy heard of the Queen's arrival in the children's ward, she sat up in her bed and clapped her hands in glee, calling: " Nurse, can I see my Queen?"' The nurse crossed the ward and told the Queen, who immediately went to Nancy's bedside. '• But, nurse, she has not got a polden crown," said the disappointed child. I "My dear," said the Queen, "I am so 1 sorry I left my crown behind. I only have my toque, and it is not golden, but it has flowers." Then Her Majesty called to the King: "Do come here, George. This is a pretty little thing, and wonders why we are not wearing our crowns." Then turning to Nancy, whose oye> were gleaming. Her Majesty said: "This is the Kin?, my dear." As the King and Queen went away the Queen patted Nancy's cheek and added: " You shall see your Queen with her golden crown some day." The King sought out and chatted with several nurses who attended himself in his last illness.
