CLUB APPROVES PROTEST. ,

At the weekly meeting of the A.C.A. . ■xecutive last night. Mr. E." E. Epsom United Club protested against :eams to which King's College ream defaulted in the third grade during the school holidays being awarded 4 points. The . Epsom United team was not drawn against rhe College team in the holiday period, and iiad no opportunity of getting a 4-poiut (vin oti account of the College team having to stop play at 5.30 p.m. The meeting generally considered the position to be inequitable, and decided to consider the position at the end of die season with a view to endeavouring to secure a fair adjustment. On the application of Grafton Club. C. P. Hopkins was re-<raded from senior to second grade, and D. S. Wyllie and S. H. Street from second to third grade. The chairman reported that a visitor to Auckland had donated a guinea to the coach fund. A notice of motion by Mr. Hay in respect to recision of a former motion regarding attaching E. H. Bowley to any particular club as a player was held over till a later meeting. It was decided to make at next meeting the awards of the Tisdall bat for highest batting aggregate, and the Wallis bat for the best bowling average in the senior club matches in January. A sub-committee consisting of Messrs. Dow, Coates and the secretary was set up to report to next meeting on the best method of finalising the junior grade competitions. SATURDAY'S ARRANGEMENTS.
