CATTLE SELL WELL. PIG PRICES LOWER. The Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Ltd., report as follow: At our weekly stock market in Frankton yards on Tuesday, we had a good entry of cow and heifer beef. Prime cattle sold well up to late rates, plain beef being easier. A fair entry of fat sheep was submitted, and sold firm at late values. A good number of fat and store pigs came forward, and prices for all classes were easier. Quotations are: Beef—Extra heavy prime cows sold to £8 5/, lighter prime £6 to £6 2/6, medium weight £5 to £5 10/, light cows and heifers £4 to £4 15/, plain heavy cows £4 12/6 to £5 14/, rough cows and boners £3 to £3 10/, store cows 35/ to £2, good quality wellgrown Holstein weaner heifers £2 14/, weaner steers 28/ to 30/. small weaner calves 15/, springing heifers £4 15/ to £5 5/. Sheep: Good quality heavy prime fat ewes up to 19/, lighter prime 17,', fat lambs 21/ to 23/, medium two-tooth store wethers 18/, shorn rape lambs 14/9-.

Pigs: Best baconers £3 4/ to £3 5,', lighter £2 19/ to £3 1/, medium to heavy porkers .£2 16/ to £2 18/, light to medium £2 5/ to £2 12/, slips and small porkers 19/ to 25,', weaners 9/6 to 11/.
